Marquee Specifics
What you need to know!!!
All of our marquees are electron peg and pole marquees made by NZ company Baytex.
They come with ceiling linings and pole covers as well as all the walls except for the entrance.
We have 4 marquee size options available
The 9 x 9m marquee will seat up to 80 on trestle tables.
The 9 x 15m marquee will seat up to 130 on trestle tables
The 9 x 21m marquee will seat up to 180 on trestle tables.
The 9x27m marquee will seat up to 240 on trestle tables
Our marquee packages include us setting up the marquee, lights and placement of the furniture according to our agreed seating plan
It is recommended that you have less than the maximum to allow for areas for dancing, food and bar etc.
Our marquees must be put on grassed areas as they need to be pegged into the ground.
Each marquee needs a flat area of the size specified and 2m clearance either side for the ropes.
We are able to provide a marquee on its own as an option, please contact us for pricing.
We also have the option of round tables now but you will generally need to go up a size in marquees to accommodate them. Please contact us for pricing for this option
We are happy to travel and we have a reasonable priced packages for the marquee hire, silk linings and pole covers, set up and dismantle within 100km of Thames. Further distance will incur an extra travel charge
This allows us to service the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Auckland as well as the Coromandel

We are Matt and Taryn Baines and we own Make Your Day Events. We started our business to help create amazing functions for a more affordable price.
Our marquee packages are competitive and our team is efficient in ensuring we have your marquee set up and ready to go. As well as styling weddings, we can also help you with your other functions needs such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries, school balls, baby showers etc. We are also happy to travel to assist with your functions so if you don't live in the Coromandel/Hauraki area you don't have to miss out.

STYLING
Set the date, booked all the important aspects, found the dress but struggling with how to make your venue look amazing. This is where I come in. I am an experienced stylist and can dress the marquee or your venue of choosing. I can work to the brief you provide or give you ideas if you are not sure about the style you want or can achieve
COORDINATION
Would you rather be enjoying your big day and the lead up instead of dealing with vendors, I can take the hassle away by coordinating with them in the final week and day so you can focus on your big moments. Our on the day coordination packages are generally reserved for our marquee and/or styling clients. While we are not wedding planners I certainly can assist with vendor recommendations to make your big day perfect
